Character of Macawber:

The Strength of Dicken' novels in his character. This characters are all exaggerated. The works on his character like a cartoonist. Micawber has become immortal for his humourous and amusing personality. he was in the clutches of creditors. He was in distress. He was arrested and put into the prison. when David copperfield went to meet him in the prison he advised him to take lesson from his fate. Micawber learnt that one should cut his coat according to cloth. he should never over-spend. This piece of advice gives us a clue to his funny character. After giving this advice he himself borrowed a shilling from david for tobacco. He always lived on the world of fantastic hoges and desires. He was by temperament a sentimental man. The loved his wile deeply and passionately. he again advised David thus-'never do to morrow what you can do today.' The most remarkable quality in micawber' character is his struggle against **** in a happy and lively manner. He was never dejected and disappointed due to ** and debts. he was an honest man. He was perturbed and worried to find Uria Heep'* forgery.

Thus we find in Micawber the fountain of delight and humour He is a stupendure figure,yet life -like and realistic.
