Rate of boiling of water is = 6.0Kg / min

Rate at which heat is supplied by the flame to water is :-

m = Rate of boiling of water

L = heat of vaporization of water

θ = m L

= 100g/* x 2256J/g

Θ = 225 600J/*

Now, T2 = Temperature of cold junction = 1000C
