(a) The preamble is the introductory part of the Constitution summarising the main features and ideals of the nation in order to get proper clue and direction.

(b) We, The People’. It has perhaps been inspired by a similar expression in the **** Constitution. The words ‘ADOPT, ENACT AND GIVE TO OURSELVES THIS CONSTITUTION’ makes the people the holders of this authority. Speaking about this purpose and intention of the Constitution, Dr. Ambedkar said in the Constituent Assembly: “This Constitution has its roots in the people and it derives its authority from the people.”

(c) The objectives of the Indian constitution are emphasized in the preamble in order to memorize the ideals and goals of the constitution to keep it unforgettable.
