The full form of ICSE is "Indian Certificate of Secondary Education".
ICSE is mainly an examination conducted by CICSE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination), which is a private board of school education in India. Through the medium of English, it provides an examination in a course of general education. ICSE board is one of the most reputed boards (along with CBSE) in India and all over the world. Students appearing for the ICSE examination have to study six subjects, with 1 to 3 papers in each subject. A candidate can give a total of 8 to 11 papers and in these best 5 among them is considered for results.
