= $(3a)^2 + 1/(3a)^2 - 2 xx 3a xx 1/(3a) - 4( 3a - 1/(3a))$

= $( 3a - 1/(3a))^2 - 4( 3a - 1/(3a))$

= $(3a - 1/(3a))[( 3a - 1/(3a)) - 4]$

= $( 3a - 1/(3a))( 3a - 4 - 1/(3a))$
