Area of quadrilateral ABCD = ar (ΔABC) + ar (ΔADC)

ar (quad. ABCD) = 1/2 [5 (– 1) – (– 2) (– 3) + (– 3) (1) – (– 1) (2) + (2 × 0 – 1 × 6) + 6 (– 2) – (0 × 5)]

= 1/2 [– 30]

= |– 15|

= 15 sq. units
