Why do we call the earth a Blue Planet?
The Earth is called a blue planet because:
(a) Earth is the only planet which has water.
(b) Three-fourth of the Earth’* surface is covered with water bodies.
(c) When looked from the space it appears blue due to the presence of the water bodies.
