Prove that In a triangle, if two angles are unequal, the side opposite to greater angle is longer than the side opposite to the smaller angle.

Activity

Draw three triangles with measures given in figure. Measure the sides and tabulate the measurement as shown in the table.

Similarly, write the angle-side relation with reference to ΔDEF and ΔABC from the table of measurement, we can write the angle side relation as follows:

"In a triangle, if two angles are unequal, the side opposite to the greater angle is longer than the side opposite to the smaller angle".
