Given:

ABCD is a parallelogram. AC is one of the diagonals of the parallelogram ABCD.

To prove:

ar(ΔABC)=ar(ΔDBC)

Proof:

In triangles ABD and DBC,

AB = DC ( Opposite sides of parallelogram)

AD = BC ( Opposite sides of parallelogram)

BD = BD ( common side)
