Correct option (c) A is true but R is false

Explanation :

We cannot get steam directly from ice. There is one intermediate state of water called liquid whose temperature has to be raised to 100°C before we can get steam. Critical point is that temperature at which a gas can be liquefied by applying pressure. So, water cannot have a critical point.
