The old woman is the daughter of slaves ** living alone in a small house outside the town. She is but wise. Among her people she is both law maker and breaker. The young visitors even scold her for her such reply, but she does not react. So, the old lady has much tolerance and justification. She does not loose her temper. She knows that the young people came to her to prove her a * but she dealt them very nicely, politely and tactfully.
