Following are the indirect ways of the transmission of ****:–
(a) Vehicle borne transmission – When transmission of infection occur through water, food, blood, tissue and organ, it is called vehicle borne transmission. For example, Typhoid, Cholera, Dysentry, Hepatitis, etc.
(b) Vector borne transmission – When **** are transmitted through a vector, it is called vector borne transmission. Ex-Malaria.
(c) Air borne transmission – When droplet nuclei and infected dust are responsible for transmission, it is called air borne transmission. For example Influenza, Tuberculosis etc.
(d) Fomite borne transmission – Apart from air and water, non-living substances are responsible for the transmission of **, then it is called fomite borne transmission. For example–**** cloth, handkerchief, cup, glass, which produce the diesease like typhoid & infection of eye and skin.
