(i) the amount paid by the customer.
(ii) the VAT to be paid by the shopkeeper.
Given, List Price = Rs.24000, Discount = 30%.
(i) Amount paid by customer Rs.(21,600 +2,160)= Rs.23,760
(ii) Total VAT to be paid by shopkeeper = Rs.(2,160 - 1,680) = Rs. 480
