Subject : Guideline as Road Accident Victims
Sir
Through the columns of year esteemed newspaper. I wish to draw the attention of general public towards the guidelines issued by Supreme Court regarding road accident victims. Generally, it was found that people do not help the road victims because they are scared of the harassment by the police. It resulted in many people losing their life in the absence of timely help. Now the Supreme Court has issued guidelines that people who take road victims to a hospital will not be questioned or detained. It is a praiseworthy step which will motivate the bystanders or passerby not to hesitate but to come forward and extend a helping hand to the road victims, thus discharging their duty as a responsible citizen.
I request you to publish this letter of mine in your newspaper so that people take a step forward and help the road victims in distress.
Thanking you
Yours sincerely
Shobha
