Amphibians are warm blooded animals. Their skull is monocondylic. The heart in amphibians is two chambered. Kidneys are metanephric. Their larval forms are ureotelic whereas adults are ammonotelic. Fertilisation is internal and twelve pairs of cranial nerves are present in them.
