All the points along the same indifference curve represents all those combination of two commodities which provides the same level of satisfaction to the consumer. Level of satisfaction *** constant whether we move upward or downward along the same indifference curve. Consumer is neutral or indifferent among these combinations because he does not prefer any one combination over the other.

In the present diagram, combination A (OX + OY) provides the satisfaction equal to combination B (OX1 + OY1 ).
