Explanation:

Isothermal means T is constant.

As PV = nRT hence PV = constant.

∴ (dP / dV) = (– P/V)……..(1)

Bulk modulus = [(– dp) / (dv / v)] = – v ∙ (dp / dv)

Hence from (1), bulk modulus = – V × (– P / V ) = P
