Universal Declaration of Human Rights is an international ‘Magnacarta” of all people everywhere. In this context describe the rights from each of the following categories:

(a) Civil and Political Rights.

(b) Economic, social and Cultural rights.

(a) Civil and Political Rights:

i. The right to life, liberty and security of a person.

ii. Freedom from slavery and servitude.

iii. Freedom from *** or cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment.

iv. The right to recognition as a person before the law; equality before law and equal protection of the law; the right to an effective judicial remedy; freedom from arbitrary arrest; detention and exile; the right to a fair trial and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal; the right to a fair trial and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal; the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty.

v. Freedom from arbitrary an interference with privacy, family, home or correspondence.

vi. Freedom of movement and residence within the borders of state.

vii. The right of asylum from persecution.

viii. The right to a nationality.

ix. The right to marry and found a family.

x. The right to own property.

xi. Freedom of thought, conscience and religion, freedom of opinion and expression.

xii. The right of association and of peaceful assembly.

xiii. They right to take part in government and the right of equal access of public service

Economic, Social and Cultural Rights : The General Assembly has recognized various other human rights, such as right to self-determination, right to development in which all human right and fundamental freedoms can be fully realized, human rights and scientific and technological developments, rights of the **** to enable them to develop in a healthy and normal manner, protection of and ** in armed conflicts, protection of migrant workers, protection of minorities, abolition of penalty, protection against ** intolerance and hatred, etc.

i. The right to social security;

ii. The right to work

iii. The right to rest and leisure;

iv. The right to a standard of living adequate for health and well being

v. The right to education; and

vi. The right to participate in the cultural life of the community. The concluding Articles 28 to 30 recognize that everyone is entitled to a social and international order in which these rights and freedoms may be fully realized; they also assert the duties and responsibilities which the individual owes to the community.
