Consider the following two statements.
A. Linear momentum of a system of particles is zero.
B. Kinetic energy of a system of particles is zero. Then

(a) A does not imply B and B does not imply A

(b) A implies B but B does not imply A

(c) A does not imply B but B implies A

c) : A system of particles implies that one is discussing total momentum and total energy.

Total momentum = 0
But total kinetic energy = 2(1/2)mu2
But if total kinetic energy = 0, velocities are zero.
Here A is true, but B is not true.
A does not imply B, but B implies A.
