The ends of a thin cylindrical shell are closed by flat plates. It is subjected to an internal fluid pressure, but the ends of the cylinder are rigidly stayed and no axial movement is permitted. Determine the increase in the volume of the shell. Take Poisson’* ratio as 0.30.
