Some plants don't look green because in addition to chlorophyll they contain other pigments which manifest stronger within the spectrum that we perceive as visible light. But they still contain chlorophyll.

Then there are plants with no chlorophyll and which must rely totally on the contents of the host xylem and phloem. These are parasites. Examples are dodder and broomrape.
