The slope of graph of stopping potential of an emitter verses frequency of incident radiation is observed to be a constant.

The value of slope is measured to be h/e which is independent of nature of emitter. Millikan calculated the value of h with the help of experimental value of slope and known value of e. The calculated value observed to be matching with Plank’* constant exactly.
