If σg is the geometrical cross-section (πR2) for neutrons interaction with a nucleus of charge Z and radius R, then show that for positively charged particles(+ze) the cross-section will decrease by a factor (1 − R0/R), where R0 = zZe2/4 π ε0E0, and E0 is the neutron energy.
