A conducting square loop of side l and resistance R moves in its own plane with uniform velocity v perpendicular to one of its sides. A magnetic field H, constant in time and and space pointing perpendicular and into the plane of the loop every where. The current induced in the loop is :

(b) H ⁄ v R clockwise

(c) 2H ⁄ v R anti-clockwise

Best answer

Correct option (d) zero

Explanation:

Induced e.m.f. in the loop will be zero due to the reason that the magnetic flux linked with the coil *** same and hence, induced current in the loop is zero.
