Guru Nanak wished bad people to stay in the village. Thus their evil will not spread to other places. He wished for good people to be scattered all over the country. Thus their goodness will be carried everywhere. In the same way each one of us has been given powers of body, mind and character. After leaving school we are tested. If we use these powers to spread light of knowledge in the whole country, it will be the best service of the country. Only then we shall be called good citizens. The progress of the country depends upon good citizens.
