Archaeologists have found spindle whorls from the excavation sites. Presence of large number of spindles proves the use of cotton for weaving cloths.Actual pieces of cloth were found attached to the lid of a silver vase and some copper objects. This shows that people in the Harappan Civilization used cloth.
