Context: Lucy is a lovely creation of the poet’* imagination. She is the child of nature, sweet, innocent and heavenly. Nature has taken the responsibility of bringing her up and to make her a lady according to her own plan.

Explanation : In this stanza nature says that Lucy is very dear to her. She will get freedom of every type. But she will check her from going on a wrong way and will encourage her to do morally right things. Lucy will go with nature everywhere. She ” will be free to go on hills, in the plains, on earth, in heaven, open place or shady place but everywhere she will feel that a Divine power is watching her. Thus she will be disciplined and inspired with noble feelings.
