Context : In this poem the poet describes his love for nature. Lucy is the lovely creation of poet’* imagination. Nature also is affected by her charms and merits. So she herself takes the responsibility of bringing Lucy up according to her own plan.

Explanation: In this stanza the poet says that nature will serve Lucy as an ideal school where she will learn many traits in a sympathetic atmosphere. She will learn from the clouds the majestic way of walking. She will learn humility and politeness from willow trees. Storm will teach her to be active and powerful. In this way Lucy will easily learn many traits and thus her character and personality will be moulded.
