Best answer

Hubble equation: v = H × d ....(1)

Substituting: v = d/t .....(2)

d/t = H x d or t = 1/H .....(3)

Age of the expanding Universe (t)

t = (9.46 x 1012 x 106)/15 = 0.6306 x 1018s

t = (0.6306 x 1018)/(60 x 60 x 24 x 365.25) = 19.98 x 109s
