P- N junction is a valve. Explain.

In a band structure of a p-type semiconductor, acceptor energy level 57 MeV above the valence band. Find the maximum wavelength of light, which can create an acceptor .

(Given h = 4.14 x 10-15 eVs, c = 3 x 108 ms-1)

P-N Junction- When N- type and P-type semiconductor are contact, P-N Junction is formed first of of all N-type semiconductor is cut in slices. At each slice and indium plate is kept. there wafars are heated in presence of H2. Indium melts at comparatively lower temperature than Germanium and some Germanium from P- type melts. this combination is cooled for some time and P-N Junction is formed.

When a device works undirectional then it is called a value when P-N Junction diode is forward biased then output is obtained and when it is reversed biased then feeble output is obtained and when it is neversed biased i.e. it also an unidirectinal device. Therefore P-N Junction is called a value.
