Calculate the difference between two principal specific heat of 1 g of helium at N.T.P., molecular mass of helium = 4 and J = 4.186 J cal-1 and R = 8.31 J mol-1 k-4.

Molecular mass, M = 4

R = 8.31 J mol-1 K-1

Cp - Cv = R/J = R/MJ = (8.31/4 x 4.186) = 0.496 cal g-1 K-1.
