Static RAM:

SRAM uses six transistors for each memory cell.

SRAM doesn’t need a refresher circuit.

SRAM is costlier and used for the smaller and faster cache memory.

Dynamic RAM:

DRAM uses a single capacitor and a transistor for each memory cell.

DRAM requires to be refreshed periodically.

DRAM is cheaper and slower and is used for the large main memory.
