The spread of Green Revolution technology enables India to achieve self-sufficiency in food grains. New India is not importing food grains from other countries of the world. We no longer had to be at the mercy of America or any other nation for meeting our nation’* food requirements. Now we are exporting wheat and rice to number of countries.
