Seals have a streamlined body and four flippers. So they are suited to live in water. They come to land to rest, mate and give birth. Together lyith the Walrus, they belong to the order ‘Pinnipedia’ meaning ‘wing foot’. They live all over the world but are most common in Arctic and Antarctic where there is plenty of food.
