Give reason. Sodium, potassium and lithium are stored under oil. Why?
Sodium, Potassium and Lithium are highly reactive metals. These metals react so vigorously that they catch if kept in the open. Hence to protect them and to prevent accidental , they are kept immersed in kerosene oil.
