My Child Hood Summary in Englsh

This lesson is an autobiography of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Through this lesson the writer has given inspiration to **** about simplicity, spirituality, tolerance, unity and reading habits and its benefits.

Dr. Kalam was born in a middle-class family in Rameshwaram present Tamil Nadu. Father Jainulabadeen for not educated formally but he had wisdom and was very **. Mother Ashiamma, their’ was a model family.

Kalam was one of several ****. Kalam was medium built. This house was situated in Masjid road. Father was leading a simple life, he was against vanity but all the facilities were available in their house. Kalam had a simple but comfortable childhood.

Kalam’ mother served kalam simple but tasty nutritious food. He lived very near to the famous Shiva temple of Rameshwaram. The area in which he lived was dominated by the **** population but Hindu’ and muslims lived together happily. Kalam’* father used to take kalam to the nearly masjid for evening prayers.

The chief priest of Rameshwaram temple pakshi Lakshmana Shastry and Kalam’ father were close friends. Both discussed about spirituality .
Kalam’
father used to wake up before sunrise perform Namaj and go to thier coconut garden. He used to bring coconuts and then took his breakfast.

Kalam believed in the power of unknown ***. He believed that an unseen power is protecting all of us from difficulty and agony and directs to the right path.

Kalam’* father started manufacturing wooden boats, when Kalam was first six years old. There boats were used to ferry pilgirms from and to Rameshwaram and Dhanush Kodi.

Kalam’ elder sister Johara’ marriage was performed with Jalaluddin who was a partner in building wooden boats with Kalam’ father. One day the sea became very rough due to strong winds and the boats of Kalam’ father were washed away in to the sea. Pamban bridge also breached causing train accident packed with passengers. Kalam had seen the damage of the sea and now he experienced the rough face of the sea also.

Though Jalalluddin was elder to Kalam by 15 years, he was very intimate with Kalam and used to call ‘Azad’ affectimately.
