In this couplet, Sri Tulsidas says that Leader should be like the mouth of a man. Though mouth is single in a man’* body, it does the work of both drinking and eating and by doing so it supplies water and food to each & every part of the body. Thus it looks after the entire body of the man. In the same way, a leader in society should do his work sensibly. If he does his work sensibly, there will be happiness to one and all.
In this couplet, the poet Tulsidas says that the saints should lwe like the bird swan. Because, *** has created people both with merits and demerits. As the swan distinguishes good and bad and accepts only good things, the saints also accepts only people of good character which are like milk. The swan distinguishes milk from water and takes only milk.
Here the poet says that kindness is the source of religion. False pride leads to sin. So human being should be always kind when he is alive. He should not be unkind towards anybody on this earth.
In this couplet, the poet tells us the importance of knowledge, humbleness and intellect. All these characters help the human beings when they are in difficulties. Trust Shri Ramachandra who will make us adventurous and truthful in our life.In this couplet, the poet describes the importance of Shri Rama nama. As we keep the light on the threshould of the house, it gives light both inside and outside the house, human beings chant the name of Shri Rama it gives light both inside and outside the body. The memory of Shri Ramachandra spreads light in human beings.
