We have,

Radius of cylinder = 3.5 cm

Height of cylinder = 7.5 cm

By using the formulas,

Total surface area = 2πr (h+r)

Curved surface area = 2πrh

So, from the question,

Total surface area / Curved surface area = 2πr (h+r) / 2πrh

= (h+r)/h

= (3.5+7.5)/7.5

= 11/7.5

= 110/75

= 22/15

∴ Ratio between the two areas is 22:15
