Water is very essential for human beings. Rivers, canals, seas, oceans etc. are the sources of water. Rain is the main source of water tanks, rivers, ponds and oceans. Water is evaporated by sun’* rays. Evaporated water is stored in clouds. When clouds get contacted with cold wind, it converts into rain drops and falling on the earth.
Like this water turns into vapour, vapour into clouds, clouds into rain. This is the water cycle and very curious. Like Europe, in Asia continental raining will not be on all the 12 months. Monsoon winds willa bring rainy season. In summer and winter, rains will not be there usually. So people wait for the rainy season. If proper raining does not occur, the people have to face drought.
The fields will be dry, there will be no drinking water for cattles and human beings. Sometimes more rains and floods will be there. Rain water is the pure source of water. Chirapunji is the highest rain receiving place in India. Water is needed for drinking, cooking, washing and all daily needs like bathing etc. Water is also needed for watering trees-plants. “Without water there is no world”.
