Both Gandhiji and Dr. Ambedkar refused the caste system and declared the oneness of the Hindu Community Gandhiji reminding the higher castes of their duty towards depressed classes. And Dr. Ambedkar reminding the inherent rights to equality with the powerful castes. Gandhiji stressed the duties and Dr. Ambekar stressed the rights both brought about a true revolution in social thought of the people.
