Best answer

Given: 3 is one of zeroes of the polynomial 2x2 + x + k , which means x = 3 will satisfy it.

2x2 + x + k = 0

2(3)2 + 3 + k = 0

18 + 3+ k = 0

k = -21

The value of k is -21
