(i) The Golden Quadrilateral Super Highways is a major road development project linking Delhi - Kolkata - Chennai - Mumbai and Delhi by six-lane superhighways.
(ii) The two major objectives of these Super Highways projects are to (a) reduce the time and (b) distance between the mega cities of India.
(iii) The North-South Corridors linking Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) and Kanyakumari (Tamil Nadu) and East-West Corridor connecting Silchar (Assam) and Porbandar (Gujarat).
