For A & B

x2 = x + 2

⇒ x2 – x – 2 = 0

⇒ (x + 1) (x – 2) = 0

⇒ x = – 1, 2

So A ≡ (–1, 1) and B ≡ (2, 4)

So Required Area

= 9/2sq. units
