Inside a horizontally moving box, an experimenter (who is stationary relative to box) finds that when an object is placed on a smooth horizontal table and is released, it moves with an acceleration of 10m/s2. In this box if 1kg body is suspended with a light string, the tension in the string in equilibrium position. (w.r.t. experimenter) will be. (Take g = 10m/s2)

correct answer is (B) 10√2N.

Since the object slides with acceleration 10m/s2 the acceleration of box is 10m/s2
