Jack is a responsible father who wants her daughter to be aware of good and bad in the society which can be seen through his story of Roger skunk. But, unfortunately, he was not able to build good relation with his daughter as instead of clearing the doubts that her daughter had, it made him irritated and annoyed. Hence, jack cannot be considered as a good father.
