Dear Diary,
The ship was sailing in the sea. I don’t know what happened but I took my bow and arrow and shot the Albatross. The breeze that was once carrying the sails, halted. There was misery all around. Slimy creature emerged from the rotting sea. There was no water to drink. Everyone started cursing me for having shot the bird. They believed that the spirit of the bird was following and haunting them, causing the misfortunes. So they hung the Albatross round my neck as a sign of guilt for their plight and misery.
