Two radio antennas separated by 300 m as shown below, simultaneously broadcast identical signals at the same wavelength. A radio in a car at P traveling due north receives the signals. If the car is at the position of the second maximum what is the wavelength of the signals __ m.

The condition of interference maxima is

d sinθ = nλ ⇒ λ = d sinθ/n, n = 0,1,2,..

with the given condition, the small angle approximation does not work well. That is sin θ , tan θ and θ are significantly different
