A desuperheater mixes superheated water vapor with liquid water in a ratio that produces saturated water vapor as output without any external heat transfer. A flow of 0.5 kg/* superheated vapor at 5 MPa, 400°C and a flow of liquid water at 5 MPa, 40°C enter a desuperheater. If saturated water vapor at 4.5 MPa is produced, determine the flow rate of the liquid water.
